trinity church - sutton

Lightinc Ltd were invited by The Property Committee to design and supply the new interior lighting system at Trinity Church in Sutton, Surrey.

The lighting design utilizes 65 watt IRC AR111 lamps to provide both practical and accent lighting. The lighting fittings are installed at high level into 3 circuit lighting tracks to ensure that the fittings blend in with the architecture.

Energy saving ISL lamps replaced the GLS lamps in the existing wall mounted lighting fittings that are a significant architectural feature of the Church.

James Wadsworth comments "this is the first time that we have used ISL energy saving lamps in wall lights. We decided that these lamps would project the light where it was required."

The lighting is controlled by a pre-set dimming system supported by a touch screen.

Architect: Brian Lofthouse. Thomas Ford and Partners.
